This past weekend was one for the books!
We were incredibly honored to support the Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Aloha Post 104 for their annual Hog Feed fundraiser—a cherished community event that holds a special place in our hearts.
And this year was even more meaningful because our very own son, Ryan Montgomery, helped make it all happen!
A Fun, Flavorful, and Heartfelt Day
The annual Hog Feed fundraiser is a long-standing tradition that brings together the Aloha, Oregon community in support of the American Legion’s mission of service, remembrance, and support for veterans and their families. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth, the camaraderie, and the deep sense of purpose that fuels this event year after year.
With mouthwatering food, amazing volunteers, and a wonderful turnout, the event was a huge success. There was laughter, connection, and lots of full plates—and it reminded us how powerful community gatherings can be when we all come together for a cause.

A True Group Effort
Behind every successful event is a team of dedicated hearts. We want to give a big shoutout to SAL Aloha Post 104, all the volunteers, donors, and attendees who made this event possible.
It takes a village—and we’re so proud to be part of this one. Supporting local fundraisers like this is at the core of what we do at Menu by Mary Lou. It’s not just about catering food; it’s about showing up for the people and the causes that matter.
Thank You, Aloha!
From our family to yours, thank you for making this year’s Hog Feed fundraiser so special. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside our son and this incredible community.
Here’s to more events, more collaboration, and more shared moments around great food. Until next time!
